INFILL RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

This modest development comprises eight two-story dwellings on an infill site of approximately 0.226 hectares, located within the curtilage of the existing Palmyra House. Special consideration was given to the historic structure and nearby sites. The site layout and individual house designs respect both Palmyra House and the adjacent Whitechurch Church and graveyard. The overall design and proposed building heights were carefully considered, with a strong focus on scale and massing. The development reflects the existing vernacular while also presenting a modern addition to the streetscape, thoughtfully integrating with the height, scale, and massing of the surrounding urban form.
